Social Security Disability
Attorney Rod Forbes

Both in his professional life, serving injured and disabled clients since he first became a lawyer in 1990, and in his personal life, seeing his father-in-law succumb to Alzheimer’s disease, Rod’s witness to how deeply the trials of disability and serious injury or death can impact a family have everything to do with why his clients choose him.

You get his attention.

“I need to know my clients, so they get my personal attention.”

You get his compassion.

“I have seen enough in this world to know what my clients are going through, and what they really need. If I can affect that, it means everything to me. It’s why I’m in this business.”

You get his unique familiarity with medicine.

“Disability and personal injury matters require a lawyer to have a very good working knowledge of the medicine that comes up in cases repeatedly. And it requires the ability to learn the medicine in unique cases as well. A lawyer cannot gain this type of knowledge by doing the occasional disability or personal injury case. If a lawyer claims that he or she practices in several areas of law, then you should be suspicious as to whether that lawyer can really handle a case where medical issues are involved.”

You get his sense of community.

“I love taking part in my kids' lives and I enjoy coaching, especially little league baseball. I also feel a deep commitment to my church and various missions like Habitat for Humanity.”
